Our Story
Kavel's Restaurant is named after our first child, Kavel- A name that means "lotus flower", a symbol of rebirth and resilience. it's the perfect reflection of our story.
We were regulars of the restaurant that was once here, Marilyn's. We grew to love the food, the people, and the welcoming space. In the summer of 2024, Marilyn's had made the difficult decision to shut down, leaving a staff of over 20 without jobs, and a community favorite suddenly gone.
we couldn't let it end that way. With deep belief in the team and the hidden potential of the restaurant, we stepped in and took over. In September of 2024 we officially bought the restaurant, only days before Kavel was born.
We've made thoughtful changes, recruited industry talent, and worked closely together to ensure that Kavel's Restaurant is a place that is welcoming, friendly, charming, elegant, and family friendly.
Kavel's is a restaurant built on collaboration and care. Its a place for the staff to shine and our guests to relax and enjoy!
Our team is like family, and they treat our guests like family too!
